Shipping & Returns
We accept returns and exchanges on most items within 30 days of your order. Returns will be issued store credit. Products must be unopened, unstrung, undamaged and in re-saleable condition.
Please Contact Us for a return merchandise authorization.
Your return will be processed once we receive the items. You will receive a code for store credit to use on our website. We are not responsible for return shipping costs. We do not refund original shipping charges. We do not accept returns/exchanges on clearance items, closeouts, special orders, books, earring findings, rhinestone banding and fabric cut by the yard, kits and sets.
Occasionally, we make mistakes while packing orders. If you have received the wrong item, please Contact Us. We will take care of it right away and at no cost to you. .
Most orders ship within 1-2 business days after they are placed. During busy periods (such as the holiday season), our processing time may be longer. We try to alert customers to longer processing times on our website banner and on the checkout page. Very large orders - orders of 250+ items - may take longer to process.
Business days are Monday-Friday, excluding the below holidays:
New Years Day
Saginaw Chippewa Tribal Holiday (Friday before the last full weekend in July)
Michigan Indian Day (last Friday of September)
**We emphatically do not recognize Columbus Day as a holiday.**
New Year's Eve
Occasionally, we close in order to participate in community events, gatherings, powwows, ceremonies, conferences, protests, or just to rest. We will notify customers via our website banner of upcoming closures.
We require at least 1-2 business days for ordering processing prior to shipping. Please see section above for details.
United States - We ship to the entire United States, its territories and to APO/AFO addresses. Our default shipping carrier is USPS. For very large, bulky orders, we can offer shipping via UPS. Tracking is sent automatically to the email entered at check out. Tracking information usually updates after the package is scanned in by USPS; please allow up to 24 hours for this to occur.
Canada - We happily ship items to Canada, via USPS and UPS. The customer is responsible to pay customs duties; the fee goes to the Canadian government and has nothing to do with Bead & Powwow Supply. If you refuse to pay, your package will be returned to us and you will not receive a refund for the shipping charge. The COVID-19 Pandemic has slowed international freight. Orders are taking weeks to arrive at their destination. There is nothing we can do about this. Please plan accordingly and be kind to your postal workers.
We recognize the US/Canada border for what it is - an imaginary line imposed by settler-colonial governments, cutting through Anishinaabewaki. Unfortunately, the Postal Service believes in the border and charges us international rates to ship to Canada. Those rates are reflected in your shipping charge.
Other countries - We ship orders around the world. If you're country is not listed on our shipping options, please contact us, so we can add it. Our default shipping method for orders outside the US and Canada is UPS. Please note that the customer is responsible for any duties, taxes, fees imposed by their government. COVID-19 has caused significant delays in package delivery. Please allow extra time for your order to arrive.
