Description
These flat nose pliers from The Bead Smith are a sturdy, must-have tool for any powwow person. They feature a cushion grip, lapjoint construction (to ease usage) and a double leaf spring for smooth operation. These are part of The Bead Smith's Color ID line " pick up the right tool everytime, because the handles are color-coded.
The jaws on this tool are flat and (relatively) wide, which makes them great for handling and flattening beading wire and other metal components. They also work for opening and closing jump rings.
If you are a jingle dress maker, you may find these useful for pinching the tops of jingle cones. If you are one who ties their cones before putting them on your dress, this is the tool for you (as opposed to sewing done ties then coning the dress once it's sewn). The flat head is wide enough to get a good pinch on the top of the jingle, without leaving a little hump on the jingle. Since these are made of metal, they could potential scratch your jingles. We recommend covering them with a little piece of cloth before use.
Sold individually. Not intended for use by children under 15. Made in China.
