Frequently Asked Questions

All of our classes are open to the public!
Please pre-register for your class. It helps us prepare for the class and we can't guarantee that there will be space for walk-ins.
Our classes are designed for adults; well-behaved youth/children may enjoy some of our beginner level classes. We leave it to parents to decide if their child will do well in our class. All minors must be accompanied by an adult for the entire class!
On Tuesdays, we open the shop for our Basic Beading Class. If you arrive early, the shop may still be closed; don't worry, we'll be there!
For virtual classes, your order will be placed "on hold" while we prepare the class kits. This is a way for us to keep track of class attendees.
We do not record virtual classes.

About Basic Beading Classes

Our Basic Beading Classes are $15/90 minute session. Basic Beaded Earring Projects will take 2-3 class sessions to complete. Project kits are sold separately. Scroll down to see what projects are currently available!

Project kits include the necessary beads and findings plus a 6 pack of Pony Beading Needles, and a bobbin of Nymo thread. That means that if students which to create more beading projects, they’ll have the thread and needles to start!

Welcome to Bead & Powwow Supply! We’re excited to have you join us for one of our classes. To ensure a positive experience for everyone, please review the following policies:

Registration and Payment
1. Advance Registration: Pre-registration is required for all classes. Walk-ins are not guaranteed a spot.
2. Payment: Full payment is due at the time of registration to reserve your spot.
3. Age Requirements: Unless otherwise specified, our classes are intended for adults. Minors over age 10 are welcome, but must be accompanied by an parent or guardian. Parent/guardian is expected to register for the class if they intend to sit at the table and assist their child.
Class Cancellations
1. Student Cancellations: No refunds for cancellations/reschedules within 7 days of class date.
2. Shop Cancellations: If we must cancel a class due to low enrollment, inclement weather, or other unforeseen circumstances, you’ll be notified at least 24 hours prior. You can choose a full refund or to apply your payment toward a future class.
Class Attendance and Punctuality
1. Arrival Time: Please arrive at least 5 minutes before the class begins to allow time to settle in. Late arrivals may miss important instructions and disrupt the class.
2. Absences: Students who miss class are not eligible for refunds or make-up sessions.
Materials and Supplies
1. Class description will note whether materials are included.
2. Basic Beading Class registration does not include materials. Students may choose from kits available at the shop.
3. Drop-in Regalia help does not include materials.
4. For sewing classes, students are encouraged to bring their own sewing machine. We have a single sewing machine available for student use at the shop.
5. Optional Tools: If you have your own tools (pliers, bead mats, etc.), feel free to bring them along. Please label any personal items. You are responsible for all of your personal belongings.
Classroom Etiquette
1. Respectful Environment: Please be respectful of other students and the instructor. We aim to create a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for all.
2. Cell Phones: Silence cell phones during class to minimize distractions.
3. Food and Drinks: Light snacks and drinks are allowed, but please be mindful of shared spaces and keep them away from your work area.
