Description
The Opaque Light Brown is a classic brown color that is great for representing furry creatures, acorn caps, tree trunks, and mountains. Use to highlight -0198 Opaque Dark Brown.
Opaque glass does not allow any light to pass through the bead. This gives these beads a solid look that is still shiny. Many of our customers refer to this as the "regular" or "plain" beads as they are some of the most commonly found beads in both historical and contemporary indigenous bead art.
Seed beads are a very popular and time-honored option for any bead artist, whether your art is worn on the powwow trail, displayed in a gallery, or adorning a person. They are fairly uniform in shape and size. They can be used in virtually any beaded project, including applique or flat stitch, lane stitch, peyote stitch, loomwork, bead weaving, bead stringing and jewelry making. Since they are so versatile, we recommend using seed beads for beginning beaders, classes, and workshops.
Size 12 or (or 12/0) Seed Beads measure between 1.8-2.0mm. The hole of the bead is at least 0.50mm in width. Beads are sold strung on hanks; each hank contains 12 20-inch strands. Approximately 4,700 beads per hank.
