11/0 Seed Beads Opaque AB Dark Red

This color is a has a deeper hue than -0116 but will be perfect for fire pieces, or darker florals. Please keep in mind that the Opaque Dark Red can appear brown in artificial lighting. If you do not want that affect, please choose a lighter opaque red or a transparent red bead.

Opaque glass does not allow any light to pass through the bead. This gives these beads a solid look that is still shiny. Aurora Borealis (AB, for short) is the name for the rainbow affect. Opaque AB tend to have a subtle rainbow appearance that deepens the bead color. This is more pronounced on dark colors and warm shades. Use these beads next to transparent color to add depth or use an opaque matte bead to draw out the rainbow affect.
