11/0 Charlottes Transparent AB Crystal

Transparent AB Crystal beads are crystal clear with a subtle rainbow aspect. The aurora borealis finish can add some yellow undertones. Thus, these beads don't look as crystal clear as the regular Transparent Crystal beads.

Transparent glass allows light to pass through the bead, liked stained glass. This makes transparent beads appear extra shiny. Aurora Borealis (AB, for short) is the name for the rainbow affect. Transparent AB tend to have a subtle rainbow appearance that deepens the bead color. This is more pronounced on dark colors and warm shades. Use next to a matte bead to draw out the rainbow affect.

Charlotte Cuts have one or two facets per bead, which gives them a subtle sparkle. They are particularly popular for old style beadwork. They are fairly uniform in shape and size. They can be used in virtually any beaded project, including applique or flat stitch, lane stitch, peyote stitch, loomwork, bead weaving, bead stringing and jewelry making.
