Description
11/0 2-cuts Opaque Light Blue are here!
With this most recent addition, we now have five, yes, FIVE sapphire/cobalt toned blues in Opaque 11/0 2-cuts. That means you could do a full spectrum on a beautiful beadwork project. 11/0 2-cuts Opaque Light Blue is on the lighter end of the range but still considerably darker than the periwinkles. It contrasts well with any other of the blues in this color scheme. Or add it to black and white, contrast with warm colors, whatever strikes your fancy.
2-cuts are great for powwow beadwork. They have a certain sparkle and flash but are more economical than 3-cuts. They do have sharp edges on the ends and can cut threads. We do not recommend these for peyote stitch, beadweaving, loomwork, or any other beading technique where the ends touch threads.
For applique/flat stitching, if you're having a problem with broken threads, here is our advice. When pulling the thread through the bead, be sure to pull it straight out of the hole. Do not pull it up and against the edge, this can cause your thread to fray and eventually break.
We recommend Size 11 or Size 12 needles and Size B Nymo for use with 11/0s.
Sold by the hank; hanks contain 12 20-inch strands. Made in the Czech Republic
