Announcement:

After 2.5 years in our Owaashtinong (Grand Rapids, Michigan) space, we've made the decision to close our brick and mortar shop. Some recent family issues have made us realize that we much prefer the flexibility of online and powwow sales, compared to the daily routine of running a permanent, physical space.

We will continue selling most of our selection of seed beads and beading supplies, jingles, and regalia supplies online and at tribal gatherings in the Great Lakes region. However, we will be closing out several lines of craft supplies, including most of our fabric, sewing supplies, vintage beads and more. Shop sales here!

Store Closing FAQ

The shop’s planned last day is December 30th. We will have a last day celebration.

We will continue selling beads, beading supplies, jingles, Indigenous fabric, ribbon online and at powwows.

We plan to do regular pop-up shops in West Michigan in 2026.

Sales will continue until we close but items are selling out, so we recommend you shop early and often.

Fixtures will be for sale starting in January 2026. Our DMC Embroidery floss display will be going to Seams Sewing & Mercantile in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
