Kafka Ribbon is sold by the yard. Ordering a quantity of 1 means that you will be sent 1 yard. 1 yard is 36 inches (that’s a little smaller than a meter, for our non-US customers more accustomed to the metric system).

We were ecstatic to find Kafka Ribbon at a tradeshow. This beautiful jacquard ribbon is woven on antique looms in Germany. The intricate designs, the product quality, and the history of the manufacturing process mean these wonderful ribbons will be an exquisite addition to our selection of regalia-making supplies. We’re starting our collection with floral and woodland themed patterns that appeal to our Anishinaabe sensibilities. We plan to expand this collection to include other colors and patterns, as they become available.

Care Instructions:
Before you attach a ribbon and work with textile items, iron the ribbons using lots of steam until they are hot. The ribbons will no longer shrink and can be used successfully.

Heat Settings:
Many of Kafka ribbons are woven with polyester/rayon fibers, use the recommended heat setting on your iron for best results.
