Description
Transparent Medium Topaz is a good deep tan or light brown color. Any bead artist who works with earth tones, skin tones, or fire colors, should have a hank or two of this on hand. It is close in color to both -0892 Transparent Topaz and -0896 Transparent Dark Topaz, so please keep that in mind while designing.
Transparent glass allows light to pass through the bead, liked stained glass. Transparent Luster beads are shinier and flashier than their regular transparent counterparts. The luster affect tends to lighten the colors a little, so they can be used with regular transparents for shading and depth. Use with matte beads to draw out the shine of the luster beads.
Seed beads are a very popular and time-honored option for any bead artist, whether your art is worn on the powwow trail, displayed in a gallery, or adorning a person. They are fairly uniform in shape and size. They can be used in virtually any beaded project, including applique or flat stitch, lane stitch, peyote stitch, loomwork, bead weaving, bead stringing and jewelry making. Since they are so versatile, we recommend using seed beads for beginning beaders, classes, and workshops.
Size 11 (or 11/0) Seed Beads measure between 2.0-2.2mm. The hole of the bead is at least 0.60mm in width. Beads are sold strung on hanks; each hank contains 12 20-inch strands. Approximately 4,000 beads per hank. Made in the Czech Republic.
