Description
The Opaque Lemon Yellow radiates warmth like the sun on a brilliant summer's day. These beads will add depth and cheeriness to any beading project. Also called light yellow or just plain yellow, these beads are the brighter yellow option, compared to the corn-like Golden Yellow.
Opaque glass does not allow any light to pass through the bead. This gives these beads a solid look that is still shiny. The matte finish mutes the shiny glass and gives these beads a softened appearance. Use matte beads next to gleaming, glittery luster or AB (aurora borealis) beads, to draw attention to the latter.
Seed beads are a very popular and time-honored option for any bead artist, whether your art is worn on the powwow trail, displayed in a gallery, or adorning a person. They are fairly uniform in shape and size. They can be used in virtually any beaded project, including applique or flat stitch, lane stitch, peyote stitch, loomwork, bead weaving, bead stringing and jewelry making. Since they are so versatile, we recommend using seed beads for beginning beaders, classes, and workshops.
Size 11 (or 11/0) Seed Beads measure between 2.0-2.2mm. The hole of the bead is at least 0.60mm in width. Beads are sold strung on hanks; each hank contains 12 20-inch strands. Approximately 4,000 beads per hank. Made in the Czech Republic.
