11/0 Seed Beads Opaque AB Light Red

The Opaque Light Red is a classic red hue, that brings to mind lipstick, firetrucks, and the ripe, juicy cherries of a northern Michigan summer. This color will go extremely well with fire-themed pieces, as well as bright florals and geometric designs. If you are looking for a bright red that “pops", this is that color.

Opaque glass does not allow any light to pass through the bead. This gives these beads a solid look that is still shiny. Aurora Borealis (AB, for short) is the name for the rainbow affect. Opaque AB tend to have a subtle rainbow appearance that deepens the bead color. This is more pronounced on dark colors and warm shades. Use these beads next to transparent color to add depth or use an opaque matte bead to draw out the rainbow affect.

Seed beads are a very popular and time-honored option for any bead artist, whether your art is worn on the powwow trail, displayed in a gallery, or adorning a person. Size 11 (or 11/0) Seed Beads measure between 2.0-2.2mm. The hole of the bead is at least 0.60mm in width. Sold by the hank; each hank contains 12 20-inch strands. Approximately 4,000 beads per hank. Made in the Czech Republic.
