11/0 Charlottes Opaque AB Green Turquoise

The Opaque Green Turquoise has a green hue to it when it is compared to other blue turquoises but has a blue hue to it when compared to other green colors. But regardless, it is a very soft, delicate color with a timeless feel that will be sure to add that charm to the pieces you make with it.

Opaque glass does not allow any light to pass through the bead. This gives these beads a solid look that is still shiny. Aurora Borealis (AB, for short) is the name for the rainbow affect. Opaque AB tend to have a subtle rainbow appearance that deepens the bead color. This is more pronounced on dark colors and warm shades. Use these beads next to transparent color to add depth or use an opaque matte bead to draw out the rainbow affect.

Charlotte Cuts have one or two facets per bead, which gives them a subtle sparkle. They are particularly popular for old style beadwork. They are fairly uniform in shape and size. They can be used in virtually any beaded project, including applique or flat stitch, lane stitch, peyote stitch, loomwork, bead weaving, bead stringing and jewelry making.
