2026 Update on Ribbon

TLDR: we had to find a new supplier for ribbon and will be offering 1.5" DFS Satin by the yard (spools by special order) starting in March 2026.

Long version: 2025 was an intense year for the craft industry. Tarriffs meant that our cost on our line of Ribbon made from recycled fibers was too high. We decided to not continue that line and to invest in offering DFS ribbon by yard from a well-known American manufacturer, Offray. Unfortunately, Offray was adversely impacted by the Joann Craft second bankruptcy and folded in July. We continued selling our Offray stock until a significant portion was gone. At that point, it was late in 2025 and we decided to wait until the new year to restock. We have a new supplier we are excited to work with. We'll be getting 50+ colors of ribbon. Give us some time to get it on the website; we need to photograph it.

About Ribbon
Double Face Satin (DFS) is satin ribbon that is shiny and silky on both sides. That makes it great for skirts with dangly ribbons, and projects using ribbon as fringe.

We know DFS can be hard to find; most of our competitors, including national craft stores, regularly stock single face satin. We’re all about making art accessible to our customers and so we’re happy to stock a product that can be difficult to find.
