Description
Metallic Iris Green is a deep green with a rainbow affect. Besides its obvious appeal to creators of floral beadwork, this color is also popular for beading fish and turtles.
The Metallic Iris finish adds a metallic shine to the beads. The finish of the beads causes these beads to have color variations throughout the hank. The color variations are different shades of green, blue, purple, tan, and a deep pink. Although the colors vary, they all remain a solid color with a metallic shine. If your project requires a strict color pattern, these beads are not the beads to use. Instead you should use beads with a metallic finish to get the metallic shine that you desire.
Seed beads are a very popular and time-honored option for any bead artist, whether your art is worn on the powwow trail, displayed in a gallery, or adorning a person. They are fairly uniform in shape and size. They can be used in virtually any beaded project, including applique or flat stitch, lane stitch, peyote stitch, loomwork, bead weaving, bead stringing and jewelry making. Since they are so versatile, we recommend using seed beads for beginning beaders, classes, and workshops.
Size 11 (or 11/0) Seed Beads measure between 2.0-2.2mm. The hole of the bead is at least 0.60mm in width. Beads are sold strung on hanks; each hank contains 12 20-inch strands. Approximately 4,000 beads per hank. Made in the Czech Republic.
