11/0 Charlottes Transparent Capri Blue

The Transparent Capri Blue is like a deep inland lake on a hot summer’s day. It’s a bright blue that is great for beading medallions with a comic/sports theme. It is also an excellent color choice for water-themed projects.

Transparent glass allows light to pass through the bead, liked stained glass. This makes transparent beads appear extra shiny. The beads are see-through, so the color of the stringing material can affect the appearance – transparent beads strung on black thread will look darker than the same beads on white thread.

Charlotte Cuts have one or two facets per bead, which gives them a subtle sparkle. They are particularly popular for old style beadwork. They are fairly uniform in shape and size. They can be used in virtually any beaded project, including applique or flat stitch, lane stitch, peyote stitch, loomwork, bead weaving, bead stringing and jewelry making.
