Description
We now have 11/0 2-cuts in Opaque Medium Brown (Rust)!
We are always expanding our (already considerable) bead selection. We were pretty happy to add these to our inventory. The Medium Brown (Rust) is a deep, reddish brown. In direct sunlight, it can look more red while artificial lighting tends to bring out the brown tones. It has more red in it than either the Opaque Light Brown or Dark Brown. Nonetheless, most people see it as a brown.
11/0 2-cuts are hex-shaped, faceted beads that have a strong sparkle to them. They mix well with Size 11 Seed Beads. Applique-stitched florals are an especially good place to mix these beads. Or consider adding a line of 2-cut in applique fill, to add depth.
We recommend Size 11 or Size 12 needles and Size B Nymo for working with Size 11 beads.
For applique/flat stitching, if you're having a problem with broken threads, here is our advice. When pulling the thread through the bead, be sure to pull it straight out of the hole. Do not pull it up and against the edge, this can cause your thread to fray and eventually break.
Sold by the hank; hanks contain 12 20-inch strands. Made in the Czech Republic.
